Expensive, but better than all the rest
I've had at least 5 different brands of these reed diffusers and the Archipelago is, by far, the best. Yes, it's also the most expensive. It's scent is longer lasting and exceptionally pleasant. I've had numerous lavanders but I think this is the "best", but that's always going to be a personal choice. I also found these to be longer lasting than the product literature stated....a very welcome surprise. I easily get 6 full months from one.
Hands down the best deodarizer
These are the only reed difusers I buy now. They are truly the only ones that work. The scent is strong enough to scent the house and yet not overpowering and I get at least 6 months out of them. I got my first one at christmas from my dad and am just now replacing that one and it still has a bit left in it.

I was introduced to this particular diffuser on vacation where it was being used in the place that we stayed. I loved the scent so purchased it for my home. In my home, not only do I love the scent and strength of the scent, but the smell also reminds me of the fun vacation.

Improvement suggestion
I bought a diffuser and I loved it... but the bottle only says "archipelago" no name of the fragrance!! so I have spent $145 trying to find the right smell again! You should put something on the bottle so that we can reorder. What I am looking for smells like tubarose, hyacinth - floral but not flowery. Help-- I have had the bamboo/teak - NOT IT, the Bergamot Tobacco - like it alot but not it, ambiant - big investment and definitely NOT it. Any ideas - no stores seem to stock it and your firm has no direct website I can find. A fan who is tired of spending alot to recreate a smell!!

I think what you are looking for is "Charleston". It's has smell of "Hyacinth, White Jasmine and Tuberose".

Archipelago Botanical Candle - Havana Scent
I had the Havana scented one burning during a little party, and the guys all loved the scent. It's wonderful bergamot and tabacco. Very rich, perfect for wine, cheese and cigar parties! I also found one similar (a bit less expensive) at Bed Bath and Beyond by Maison called Grove. It has bergamot and tabacco as well. It's a great less expensive option too! They even have a reed diffuser in Grove as well. If you are not into the fruity/flowery scents...wow this is great very masculine, rich, smooth and wonderful!
Light summer scent
I love the Pineapple Ginger. I buy a lot of high end candles and this candle burns to the bottom. No wax is left. You get your moneys worth.

Wonderful light scent. Not as strong as I had hoped but a good long lasting candle.

have one for work and home
I bought the mango/tangerine one for work, every customer who comes in comments on the scent, and many of them take down the name of the product, its' just THAT intoxicating! I've used other candles/sprays/perfumes/incense in the office before but have NEVER had a reaction like this!
i just ordered the pineapple/ginger for home, and i think it's even better than the mango!

THE SMELL FROM THIS PRODUCT IS INTOXICATING. SINCE I HAVE IT OPEN IN MY FRONT HALL AND BATHROOM, I'VE HAD GUESTS PICK IT UP FOR THEMSELVES AFTER A VISIT TO MY HOME. I WAS BUYING IT IN A LOCAL SHOP BUT WHEN THEY RAN OUT OF MY FAVE BAMBOO TEAK I BOUGHT IT ON LINE FOR SAME PRICE.
Mango Tangerine scent
I LOVE it! Very decorative in my newly remodeled guest bathroom upstairs. The scent fills up the entire house! It smells so wonderful and I love that it didn't take any time at all for the scent to diffuse. I've bought some other types of diffusers which take about 36 hours to diffuse through the reeds. I am going to buy more!

This stuff is amazing
I tried this as a sample one day. I put it on at work and several women who stopped after passing my door and returned to tell me how great I smelled. It was also mentioned at the gym that night. I bought it yesterday evening at a local boutique. The price was comparable to Amazon, but I am impatient. I have already received several positive comments and it's only been 3 hours. The smell is light, but with enough scent to be noticed. It last a long time, unlike cheaper ones. It seems to contain 3 different scents, some advanced chemistry and the important factor is that I am be complimented. Buy this for the office, or a night out. It's great.
