Natural Pure Rose Scent with a Hint of Something Mysterious
BULGARI ROSE ESSENTIELLE, Ahhhhh!!! Nice!!!!!
I don't love a lot of perfumes and I genuinely despise smelling lots and lots of them. A lot of them have either that medicinal, clinical, household cleaner or pretentious roach spray smell. Namely, Halston, Clinique Happy, Ciara, most Estee Lauder fragrances only to mention a very few, are completely hideous.
But then there is Bulgari Rose Essentielle. Never have I owned a more simple and delightful fragrance. I have a lot of perfume but I always reach for this one and I could easily give away all my others.
I got this for a gift and it's the very large bottle. The intense rose floral scent comes through, for sure, but it is neither off-putting or overbearing. In business, in romance, at work, at play, this is a scent that you and everyone around you will love and absolutely no one will think this smells anything but divine.
It is decidely feminine. There is a scent of something else along with the rose scent that comes through. I forgot what it is, but it works perfectly with the rose. A woman who smells like she just gathered a basket of scented pink roses and she took some petals and rubbed them on her wrists, neck, and all those other important pulse points is the mental picture that should come through.
Lastly, this scent is neither shy nor over-powering. I do love the heady scent of Opium and I cannot lie that I find it very intoxicating. Opium is such a blend of exotic scents, it fills the senses, for sure.
Bulgari Rose Essentielle is a bit more towards the subtle and the feminine, gently alluring and totally appealing.
Appropriate for any aged woman but most like women who are 21 and older will dig it more. I feel sexy when wearing it and I spray a bit of it on my pillowcase. It is very soothing and my hair always smells of roses, or so I'm told.
Lovely scent - mature, sophisticated, upscale, not grandma-ish
I received this perfume in a sample box of 8 different scents from Sephora. It smells very strongly of roses in the bottle & reminded me of the perfume called "Joy" that my mom wore in the 70's. I didn't think I'd like it but am so glad I gave it a chance! The fragrance definitely has top notes of rose, but the other nuances which come out upon wearing it are fabulous, subtle powderiness, sweetness, fruit & a tiny bit of spiciness - patchouli I think. It is all so subtle and smells very expensive. I envision this scent on a very successful, well-dressed lady with great taste & a lot of money. Not an old lady scent, but definitely NOT a kid scent either. I LOVE it!!
I must be one of those grandmas...
but since I'm totally not one of the ladies in church I have to tell you I definately do not agree with the previous review. Rose Essentialle has a great rose fragrence, but is light and spicy. It's sexy. I get compliments when I wear it, mostly from men. And for the record? I'm under 50 :)
